RH Rooftop is an American-style restaurant with multiple locations within the UK, France, and more popularly in the United States, with locations in New York, Chicago, California, and West Palm Beach, Florida. I had a chance to try the location in West Palm Beach, Florida, which sits on the fourth floor of a furniture gallery with views of downtown. I had the chance to try the dinner menu and ordered the caviar lobster rolls, kale Caesar salad, as well as got to enjoy the view. The restaurant features beautiful indoor and outdoor seating, complete with trees and chandeliers throughout. They have lunch and dinner, and we can have brunch menus. I recommend setting reservations as it fills up pretty quickly, especially during the winter, as we East Coasters escape the cold winter to enjoy the warm Florida weather, and the sunset in West Palm Beach. 

I enjoyed the lobster rolls with caviar despite their small size. They were very flavorful and rich, and a perfect starter. The kale Caesar salad was a great size, and we decided to include the grilled shrimp for some extra protein, which paired perfectly.

V Modern Italian is a small cozy Italian restaurant in Barcelona in the town of Sant Cugat Del Vallès. They serve many pizza and pasta dishes and are very flexible and allow you to customize the ingredients and toppings that you put onto your pizza.  Have many gluten-free options as well as many pasta options as well as starters. I enjoyed a spicy burrata Pizza that I customized with arugula lettuce as well as a Caesar salad that was perfectly coated in Parmesan cheese.

Broni & Belle’s Pizzeria, a classic place to “Grab a Slice”, has many pizza flavours that get heated and put in a brick oven. Although a simple New York staple, they also have Chicago-style pizza and calzones available to order. A must-try grab-and-go!

Culture put a healthy twist on froyo for New York locals with multiple flavors and toppings to choose from. The classic Greek yogurt was my pick of choice with sprinkles and mochi. There are many sizes and combinations to try from. They even sell pre-made and packaged cookie sandwiches and pints to take home. Great place to stop by and have a guilt-free sweet treat!

Popup Bagels, with multiple locations throughout NYC, has weekly butter and cream cheese flavors as well as their standard plain and chive cream cheese. On the week of August 4th through 10th, we tried their vodka sauce cream cheese as well as their plain cream cheese on their hot everything bagels. From their warm bagels to great portions of spreads, it was a great NYC grab-and-go bagel shop.

DubuHaus, a Korean restaurant in Koreatown NYC, has a small menu with intricate flavors and traditional dishes. For the friendly staff that walk you through the menu to the appetizers and complementary tofu shot they serve you at the start they were for sure a must try. Their pricing is even better. Six of us ordered our own pantry and the bill only came out to 200$ dollars without a tip. Our favorite was the seafood soondubu with a side of fresh rice. The options are big enough to share or have a hefty meal.

NYC Bagel & Coffee House (NYCBCH), a bagel store in  Chelsea, had a great selection of bagels and wild cream cheese flavors like cannoli and cookie monster. Great for those with gluten allergies as well as my vegan friends. They had many combinations for bagel sandwiches, like my favorite Sausage Egg and Cheese with turkey sausage and lactose-friendly cheese.

Mexican? Si por favor! El Presidente is a Mexican restaurant in D.C that has many options and great sides. My favorites were the Mahi Mahi Tacos and the nacho machos. They have great portions and a great atmosphere and ambiance.

As much as I would like to say that Nobu doesn’t live up to the hype, they do! Their crispy rice, a viral order, was one of my favorites. The atmosphere and staff are very helpful and explain how to pair and order at the restaurant for the full experience. Their dishes are small but flavorful. Reservations are recommended unless you plan to sit at the bar. This place is perfect for pictures and for those who like to have small bites instead of a hefty, heavy meal.

Dear Sushi

Love Makoto is a dining hall in Washington, D.C that houses Dear Sushi. It is an omakase experience. You are given your menu in a love letter form with Omakase entries, some of which you can personalize. With lunch and Dinner menus. This place is perfect for people who love to share due to its mix-and-match omakase concept. The dinner menu has an old school and new school option, with the old school being traditional Japanese omakase and the new school being a twist that the chef inspired. My recommendation is to supersize and get the full experience with the old school and new school menu.

Love On The Run

Love Makoto is a dining hall in Washington, D.C that houses Love On The Run, a fast food version of the sit-down restaurants with poke, sushi, ramen, dumplings, salads, and soft serves. My favorites are the soft serve matcha coconut vanilla sweet cone and the mango shiso and pineapple cone.
